I guess I would feel the same way if I was still a Christian and I was faced with the immediate prospect of conclusive evidence that my entire religion is a complete lie.
I would say that this sort of discovery would remove most of the remaining goalpost-movement room left to creatards, but I think that before we reach that point, we're going to see Christians invent a new branch of false science along the lines of "intelligent design", something like "terrestrial origin science". It's nothing but a transparently desperate attempt to legitimize a defunct belief system.

And yet, most hilariouly, even that is infinitely greater evidence in support of the theory of extraterrestrial DNA seeding than any theist fuckwad has ever come close to producing to suggest the existence of any god.
If people like you applied the standards you exhibit towards this article to your own beliefs, you wouldn't be a theist, but stupidity and hypocrisy are very common bedfellows.
