It doesn't violate the rules. Anyone capable of reading the post can tell it was altered and if they're interested they can also read the original post.
If it makes you feel better the altered version is more correct. Atheists really do say that god is fictional.
I didn't say you made a change to a statement I made, and it's not obvious, visitors may not know to go back to the original post.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
