You continued being a dick.
Congratulations, you win.
You did indeed prove that some people have no idea what fallacies are or how to use them in debate, and can come across as being a dick.
I gave you more than enough chances, I'm not interested in talking to you anymore.
First off, you've been a dick too. That you disguise in a thin veil of civility that you edit into your posts afterwards doesn't mean you haven't been a dick. Also I'm trying to make a point that perhaps is lost on you.
Hint: The point is not that I'm a dick who is messing around with you. It has to do with the original topic. I'll see if you can figure it out.
Edit: Isn't this the third time you've said you're done talking to me? I actually hate being discivil over the internet. However I feel, even though you have negative feelings (which I'm sorry about) about this interaction. I feel surprisingly positive about this whole thread. I actually think I may have accomplished something, however small, for the first time.

I agree, but you don't have to say "You are using a strawman fallacy" That serves no purpose other than to try to make yourself feel smart and the other person feel dumb even anybody with wikipedia can do the same thing. You can just say "That isn't my position or what I am talking about" That is the real way to be civil. It's ironic that Rob (who I bear no ill will towards) is defending what is one of the least civil forms of debate on the internet and then accusing me of lacking civility (which of course I do, because I am making a point.)
