1) Archaeology that supports the "folks and locations" does not, in any of itself, prove anything about the Bible's veracity--only that the stories were superimposed over a historical backdrop. If in 1,000 years, archaeologists uncovered NYC, it would not prove that Spiderman exists.
2) While it's all fine and good that there are some accurate historical details in the Bible, it is far more interesting to note all the things that just are not accurate. My personal favorite source is The Bible Unearthed by Israel Finkelstein, who btw is director of archaeology for Tel Aviv University
