I personally think The Walking Dead has only become better.

I think the writers are terrible half the time. They always make a character do something stupid and uncharacteristic in order to move the plot along, where as a good writer should be able to move the plot just fine and dandy while staying true to the characters. Some of these characters are so badass and skilled sometimes and then their like bumbling idiots, and your left scratching your head wondering how they've lived this long.
