Yep, and what they've never found is god's finger prints on any of the planetary marbles. They discover what happened but never any grand intentioner.
You can go on wiki'ing up little blurbs of science. But the same details that lead you to praise god are simply interesting and sometimes awe inspiring. There is no reason to think anything in the past happened expressly to bring about a present to support us. The universe isn't all about us.
Grand scheme of things were lucky to be alive our existence can be gone in the blink of and eye. We are lucky to be alive on a planet that is good enough for life but when you look at it were just smaller than a dust particle to the universe in whole and we pretty much as a species are nothing compared to the larger image of things. and it is quite well ridiculous to call humanity special when we are just lucky to be alive. so the aforementioned god created everything forgot well shit entropy if there was a god he would stop it.
