Sorry g-c, but the argument isn't the same for people as it is for all powerful, perfect overlord gawds. People fuck up. They make mistakes. Your gawd (allegedly) doesn't. So, if someone gets sick/dies, the doctor can only be held accountable if malpractice can be proven. Your fairy tale gawd is supposed to be infallable so he either doesn't love the sick and dead as much, or it is a part of his divine plan, just like the author said.
