Of course, it all depends on one's situation and culture - But most of those facts are prevalent in western societies, and that includes the USA - In fact I'd say given the social, cultural and political differences between Europe and the US, it's more likely that in the later discrimination may be aggravated (I'm thinking about the South, and Republicans...). Logically not all people of all groups suffer from discrimination
