The thing that really pisses me off is the use of Ivory. Elephants are being hunted to extinction because of some bullshit superstition about Ivory cleansing you or some shit.
Rhinos have actually been hunted to extinction for the same reason, and Siberian tigers are extremely close.
Appearently eating parts of the tiger is considered in traditional Chinese medicine to be equivalent to having Viagra, even though I have not heard Viagra is hard to come by there. So for the possibility of one improved jerk off before the monitor it is judged worthwhile to advance by a Sizeable distance a species' journey towards oblivion.
Also, despite incipient modernity, it appears traditional medicine is still held in something like awe by many in China, where asking for proof of efficacy demonstrates a lack of faith that would in itself anger the gods of traditional medicine and deprive one of the ineffable but unmeasurable benefits of traditional medicine.
