I believe in God. I don't think anyone can know either way if he exists. How can you prove it?? To entertain such a question you'd have to think that immaterial and atemporal were things we could study.
For a deistic god your point is perfectly valid. However that is not what the bible teaches about the Christian god. After all we know the bible clearly states that moses spoke to a material being on that mountain where he experienced god, and genesis tells us that god rested on the seventh day. That clearly demonstrates that he uses a sense of time and us not atemporal either.
False. Unless you think that a disembodied voice you can't look at eminating from a bush burning but not consumed by the fire constitute a material being. God put time into place. That doesn't make him bound by it.
Thomas put his hands into the Jesus ghost side. None of the stories would stand up against skeptic scrutiny. Why... because God cannot be proven naturally.
I believe God continually shapes and manages this reality. In fine detail. I cannot know this. I believe it. I'm convinced absolutely that this is true.
Gnostic theists and atheists are idiots. Just sayin
