Like I say, it would depend on the nature of the encounter. Not sure what my questions would be but if I felt the answers were legit, why not? Presumably I would bring up the possibility of its being an advanced alien race. But really, if the show is convincing enough what does it matter?
I think it matters a great deal whether we are dealing with a very convincing cosmic impostor or the real deal. If not to you directly, then for the sake of humanity: many will follow the latter whereever it leads, and will take it as a source of absolute truth and morality, but not necessarily the former.
