Yep, and I'll note that the cookie nomming fat fuck *still* owes me a goddamn minibike.
You are so on the naughty list.

I completely agree life is batshit crazy, and there are many parts that don't make sense. However, much does make sense, and this may be a pipe dream, but hopefully one day psychology lessons and reason will replace man in the sky mantras and people will be able to use the 'sticky glue' of self-worth to connect their thoughts in meaningful and productive ways.
Surely it's Aussies?
I fear your utopian, Huxlian future may be a little beyond the reach of people who display a propensity for being wholly unreasonable in their thinking. We live in a world predicated on marketing companies keeping us brim-full of self-doubt, you'll have to 'Kill all the ad-men!' - to paraphrase Shakespeare - if we are to make any headway in that area. Even then I doubt the human race has the capacity to raise itself above the lowest common denominator, enlightenment will remain a delusion of the minority.

"I think I use the term “radical” rather loosely, just for emphasis. If you describe yourself as “atheist,” some people will say, “Don’t you mean ‘agnostic’?” I have to reply that I really do mean atheist, I really do not believe that there is a god; in fact, I am convinced that there is not a god (a subtle difference). I see not a shred of evidence to suggest that there is one ... etc., etc. It’s easier to say that I am a radical atheist, just to signal that I really mean it, have thought about it a great deal, and that it’s an opinion I hold seriously." - Douglas Adams (and I echo the sentiment)
