That doesn’t mean investigators of the past lack the evidence to determine with confidence what happened. In fact that‘s what historical scientists do like cosmologists, archeologists, geologists, archeologists, paleontologists; they gather clues or evidence left behind to make inferences.

Yep, and what they've never found is god's finger prints on any of the planetary marbles. They discover what happened but never any grand intentioner.

You can go on wiki'ing up little blurbs of science. But the same details that lead you to praise god are simply interesting and sometimes awe inspiring. There is no reason to think anything in the past happened expressly to bring about a present to support us. The universe isn't all about us.
