Late introduction but meh.
Hello, I'm an arab atheist, in my twenties(no details, forum posts can be held against you in a court of law in some countries) I became an atheist around 5 years ago when I started university, and I studied some life science (I was studying medicine, so evolution and how bacterias evolve and become resistant to antibiotics) and some history and general culture and darwin and his journeys and his own personal dilemas with his discoveries vs religion. And bam, I became an atheist. I'm surprised that my teacher was a christian and all the other students did not think twice about all that.
I am a software developer now(the medicine thing did not work out
) and I really love computers and development and all things logical. I looked for an atheist forum just to vent from some current events and things in general, and to be reminded that I am not the only sane person in the universe(sometimes, it feels like that)
My ultimate dream is to migrate to a society I can feel truly part of. Like any country in europe, and maybe the US
