I really don't care what the Talmud says. I will stick to the Bible.
They did get the 6000 idea correct though, where they went wrong is the "Rest" millennium comes after the 6K.
Not destroyed or fallow, but RESTORED.
Aren't these the same dudes who rejected their Messiah?
I should listen to them? Hah!
This current year is a "Rest" year- it will conclude with the Jewish Jubilee year this September.

I absolutely take Jesus at his word. I do not know the day or hour.
I also remember He said to "Watch"! - lest that Day take you by surprise.
Scoffers love to rehash the day or hour, but neglect the rest of it.
Jesus scolded the willfully blind leaders of His time for refusing to see the signs of the times.

Whatever happens this year, it would be wise to be watchful.
