I thought the questline did not live up to the promise. I was disappointed with it.

Then again, the only questlines that I thought really lived up to all the work were the main one and Dawnguard's.

In Skyrim I didn't enjoy it as much, but in Oblivion the plot in the DB is awesome IMO, and in Morrowind the organization of assassins (it's not called the DB if I'm not mistaken) also has a good plot.
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you
