The 1995 Crash by Cronenberg is very different from the later and totally different Crash from around 2004, IIRC.
The latter one focused on intersections among people highlighting race, a follow up film exploring religion in a similar way would be interesting. Especially as a vehicle for some subtle and not so subtle atheist demotivationals . . .
