China is by far the highest and I think executes over 1000 people per year.
With that being said though, in a country with 1.4 billion it's not like anyone would notice. teehee.
America might be the most in terms of having a larger percentage of the population executed than China (there's probably a better way to word that but I am drained right now).
My views on this Indonesia thing. I don't too much care if it's "their law", drug traffic is a massive black market trade in that part of the world, and all too often innocent tourists get caught with drugs that locals/other tourists slip into their luggage. If you get executed because someone slipped something in your bag, yes the international community has grounds to criticise their system. I don't necessarily agree with legalising all drugs (I agree with legalising softer ones like Cannibis) but at any rate the death penalty for drugs is absolutely austere and unjustifiable in my opinion.

"Ironically like the nativist far-Right, which despises multiculturalism, but benefits from its ideas of difference to scapegoat the other and to promote its own white identity politics; these postmodernists, leftists, feminists and liberals also use multiculturalism, to side with the oppressor, by demanding respect and tolerance for oppression characterised as 'difference', no matter how intolerable." - Maryam Namazie
