Hello everyone. I have had these nagging doubts about the existence for a long time though I was not an atheist then. I became an atheist just 6 months back. Before that I liked to think that there was a supernatural entity something great and majestic, but has not been defined or recognized by any religions. Then I realized the futility of my thinking. If there was a God, or a super natural entity, it would be a universal truth like the Water or the Sun or heat or light and will be recognized as such by all the people in the world. There has not been any war about the nature of water of the nature of sun light and every religion recognizes them for what they are. if there was so much difference between the various religions about the way they felt about God, then it made sense that there was no such thing. Otherwise, I would have recognized God for it/she/he was as a truth as fundamental as Water, Light, Heat etc.
Sorry for the long, dull intro, otherwise happy to join and I hope I could share my thoughts with people share similar views on belief.
