IOW your god is just an incredibly advanced being but nevertheless every bit as much of an entity of this universe as anyone else and thus no more right to be "God" than any other (ecpet by being the "biggest baddest bully" in the universal playground).
In essence this is the argument I heard from Michael Shermer (although I think it may originally be attributed to Arthur C. Clark) ...
