Your god apparently believed that men had the power to determine if the validity of women's vows. Suddenly, Jesus came and all the crap that bible god taught about went out the window. Of course, the bible also says that god does not change and is always the same.

Why teach that sort of nonsense about women in the first place? What purpose did it serve except to show that Old Testament writers considered women property?
