What I really don't understand is Jindal expecting anyone to take him seriously when the state that he runs has seriousl financial difficulties. The projected budget shortfall is $1.6B. As the article points out, this isn't all Jindal's fault of course, but he has absolutely no footing with which to discuss the national budget.
