Woah woah woah! Hold on a second. On a planet you say? A planet was there before God, the first cause of our universe? I don't see why anybody deconstructed your post beyond this point. If God evolved on a planet then God is just like us, and clearly the creation of the universe was not in his hands. Godfail.
God does not need to be the first cause of the universe to be God to us. If he made us he is God to us. But we need to be cautious in our understanding of God, he is far beyond all we can know or think. The bible does not say how God came to exist so we are free to assume anything and not be at fault. I don't believe that WE EVOLVED as there is no fossil evidence to support animal or human evolution, especially none for animals. If you don't believe me name all the transitional forms you know for animals. I believe God made us and animals, plants etc. I don't care if God evolved or has always existed. I do know God exists due to personal experiences with Him.
