The beekeeper doesn't keep tabs on every bee, nor does the farmer concern himself with each and every seed he sows.
It doesn't make any sense at all that the Universe itself (which is the Deity, according to deism) should care one iota about humans. Well over 99.9% of all species which have ever lived have gone extinct. You cannot understand this point of deism because your mind has been programmed to think of humans as a special creation, and you are unable to venture outside your own views.
