Menstruation is a consequence of original sin and as such unclean and overall - yucky. Eve did not bleed from her snatch in paradise. And I'll bet virgin Mary didn't either. If only women were as virtuous and faithful as virgin Mary - they could probably pray their periods away.
Failing that - they can try and make sure they're constantly knocked up - all the way to menopause.
