We still lack the means to gain information about the world we live in. We still have no idea where it came from. So why are we so different from ancient people. People still believe in God, but we are smart enough to know that God is not the sun. In fact more believe in God than don't. Could that mean that we do have an indication that there is a God? Maybe you are just lacking what most people possess and are at a disadvantage because you are unable to detect God.

Evolution but as far as living beings and animals there is a pretty good theory on that. you cannot say we lack the means to gain information about the world we live in either science working as intended if you were however to say that in the good ol biblical days sure you can get away with it even in the dark ages but no not at this time. The fact being is more and more people in first world countries are starting to wake up to a fact that god doesn't exist and well what do you think missionaries are flocking to third world countries for? Also god is a falsifiable claim that god claim was created by man in a means to control the masses how can you test something that isn't there. What is god anyways matter energy or ethereal so what is it because if a god did exist we would know a god does exist, that being said there is no god.
