It would be enough IF people used it. Emotion can get in the way sometimes and head off the use of critical thinking in the first place. I'm not an expert by any means but as I understand it, it is physiologically impossible to completely eliminate emotional bias.
Maybe it would help if that was part of the education. If people understood how susceptible they are to wrong thinking, they might be more open to the logic of someone else who is not as emotionally biased on a particular subject as they are.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
