As a theist I think I can empathize with pressure of imperfection, lack of forgiveness and hypocrites. I've personally dealt with division amongst a community and remaining kind, forgiving and making amends where necessary seem to be the keys to reforming a unified community. I'm grateful for this place, no where else have a seen a greater concentration of intellegent, rational and open-minded atheists in an internet forum. Especially a forum that upholds such positive ideals and equality and enforces them judiciously. Kudos to all of you. (I'd say God bless but I'm sure some would be offended)
"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post
