A random thought on the historical Jesus. The experts are nearly unanimous that the gospels are based on a real person who was crucified.
However, all that means is that the experts are unanimous that the best bet is for a historical Jesus. What if we offered them higher returns on their bet for the mythical Jesus. Would 10:1 odds entice some of them to bet on a mythical Jesus?
