I've always loved Till Death and Alf Garnett, but in my opinion that episode isn't one of the best. Spike is great in it, of course, but it's apparent that Johnny Speight let the Milligan lunacy run away a bit too much; particularly towards the end. Rather too much Q8 than hitchen sink realism.
