If that one is the only choice I would probably kiss his ass in fear but certainly not in admiration or - god forbid - in love.

There are certainly more appealing deities than that one.

Btw, there's a book by David Kerr called prayer. It's a horror thriller with the premise that god is really the literal god of the bible and acts accordingly. Kerr's an atheist if anyone wouldn't have guessed.
