Cause you can't have a discussion on the matter of Islam without taking into account the Christianity aspects. The two major religions in a bout of ideology? It's only the trigger to WW3, nothing major ya know right?
I'd expect Islam to be brought into Christianity discussions, or at the very least for the comments to go deeper than "Christianity also sucks", if that was the reasoning. Neither seem to ever happen. Instead it always just boils down to;
"Hey, this Muslim jackass did something bad."
"There are also Christian jackasses."
Which is just stating the painfully obvious.
