Actually, moderate Muslims regularly denounce atrocities, as you'd know if you actually looked for such information. However, mainstream media doesn't find "Muslims denounce attack" nearly as sexy as "Muslims commit attack" -- probably because fear sells more than concordance; terrorism sells more than integration.
Never mind the fact that you're asking people who do not agree with extremists to apologize for them. Have you apologized for Stalin? I'm told he was an atheist, like us.
Looks like a double-standard, to me.
