I'm saying it's hypocritical to come down on one person for exhibiting a certain behavior, but not come down on another for the exact same behavior, do you agree?

And by all means, please put me on ignore, that would just mean it's one less person I'd have to respond to.

So, just to be totally clear: you think the thing we object to, in christianity, is gathering in a group for solidarity? You think it's the "church" thing we take issue with, and not the unfounded beliefs driving people en masse to cause harm to others by attempting to privilege those unfounded beliefs over anyone else's rights? After all the times you've been pulled up on the utter inanity of your posts about your beliefs, you actually think that we're against those beliefs because some of them are expressed in a church?

Or is this another deflection?

I know you guys like to say that, but you do realize there are atheist churches right? Not to mention many atheist organizations. "Atheism" may not be an organization but "Atheists" are just as organized as any christian group.

Is patently absurd: are we responsible for what other atheists do? You said it yourself, the belief system is not organized, and so it stands to reason that if individuals are- as you clearly expressed yourself- then the "problem" such as it is, is with those groups, not with all of us. If you really want to start tarring everyone with the beliefs of some of those within their groups, I guarantee you that I can find whole denominations of your religion who believe some truly awful things... but I wouldn't do that, because I'm aware that the overly simplistic, desperate tu coque tactics you're trying here aren't really reflective of reality.
