That's what I was told. Assuming it's true this particular outburst may not be as scripted as some seem to think it might have been...
It does have the sound of advanced psychological defense mechanisms kicking in, hence her seeking to cut off her family from those that believe differently. Hopefully this serves to turn the rest of her family off of religion.
