Many people (especially those from other countries) don't realize that she is speaking with a southern accent. This woman lives in Louisana. The accents down south are somewhat songish. Words get over-emphasized and drawn out almost like in a song and some words are hard to understand if you aren't familiar with the dialect. My fiancee's mom is from the deep south and when we visit, I spend the first four hours there just asking her to repeat what she said. She's even harder to understand over the phone.
