Really? Now you are interpretting the scriptures like a fundamentalist would. Have you read the New Testament before?

Mathew 28:
19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Jesus:"I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel."--->racist.
Jesus:"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations"--->not racist.

This, my friend, what we call contradiction. And obvious one.
I have been reading the bible for some time and I am telling what I see. If fundemantelists are telling the obvious instead of making excuses for it. Its not so bad to be fundamentalist

The scriptures are very reliable, I dont contend with them, but the interpretation...

But if they are very reliable. Why their interpretations differs? If you want to discuss it answer my questions in the thread: "To those who believe Bible is not literal" ..

Have you read, 'War of the worlds' We would think it was a ridiculous idea that aliens would come from Mars and destroy the world, yet many people (including scientists) believed there was intelligent and technologically advanced aliens on Mars...

But it was obviously fiction and even believers could admit that its fiction. Why? Becouse there was no evidence to prove it. Today we have undeniable evidences to prove that there is no life in mars. And of course you can believe something ridiculous without any evidence. But it wouldn't be a rational thing to do don't you think? Especially if you accept that it could mislead you.. You dont have any evidence to separate your beliefs from scientologists.

Simple answer: Jesus died and rose again. I can't discredit the evidence.

What evidence is that I might ask? "Bible said so" doesn't count you know.. I am anxiously waiting for you to show me that evidence...
