The problem is atheism (at least from what I have noticed in the US) has become very much a white identity and atheists haven't done a very good job expanding to minorities (they have been called out many times because of this) and when they do, it's insulting like how they dealt with Jews and how they reached out to African Americans (the slavery billboard)....it bordered on white supremacism in how it appeared to us minorities.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.
