Don't ostracize family members without a conversation first - for all the rest of you know, they had a perfectly valid excuse for not attending and for not informing you (not saying that they did have such an excuse, it's just a point you should consider). Has anyone bothered to ask why they didn't attend, or didn't inform you that they didn't attend, or why they didn't apologize afterwards?
True story which may shed some light. I have a cousin still in NI who's a farrier. Some years gone, his only sister was married and Dennis (HRN) didn't show - no calls, no explanations, nothing. Virtually everyone at wedding - not to mention the reception - had nothing but bad words about Dennis.
As it fell out, Dennis had been kicked in the throat by a horse he was working with and lay in a coma for four days. The hospital made attempts to contact his immediate family, but they were all at the wedding and couldn't be reached.
