Liberaltards like Brian would like you to believe that the middle class and poor are being abused by the rich. However the fact of the matter is everyones quality of life is rising and its rising fast. Poor people today have it better than middle class people of the 1970s. We have a situation where there is a capitalistic tide lifting all boats.Yep. For example, in 1975 70% of US households had a color TV. By 1999 it was 98%. As Brian is a regular poster, he probably has a computer - something that used to be a luxury item. If you look at what people have now compared to forty years ago, rather than looking at gaps, it seems that trickle down is working quite well.
And if you still don't think you have enough - work harder. I used to deliver newspapers at 3am, open a convenience store at 6am, and went to college on Saturdays. Now I have a 6-figure position. And it's still work. I'm in taxes, and just finished 3 months of 66-hour weeks.
If you want more stuff, Brian, work hard and work smart. THat's the recipe for success, and it isn't a secret.
