The government has forced people to bake cakes for celebrating things they do not support.....like the wedding of Adam and Steve.  Yet it allows others to abstain from baking cakes celebrating things they do not support.'

Apparently gays get equal protection under the law.  You have to serve gays....but you don't have to serve homophobes.

It's really simple: if you're a baker who makes wedding cakes, you have to make wedding cakes for customers, not just those customers you pre-approve of. If you're a baker who makes hate speech cakes, you have to make hate speech cakes for customers, not just customers you pre-approve of. The Colorado baker did not make hate speech cakes, and is thus not discriminating by refusing to make any given hate speech cakes. Meanwhile, all of your bigot bakeries do make wedding cakes, and are seeking to not make wedding cakes for people they don't approve of, and are thus discriminating by deviating from their usual mode of business when faced with a customer they don't like.

It's not discrimination if I walk into a flower shop and am denied a cake of any sort, because flower shops don't sell cakes. It isn't discrimination if I walk into, say, a bakery that only makes car shaped cakes, and ask for a plane shaped cake, because that bakery sells a specific thing that is outside the purview of my request. It is discrimination if I walk into a wedding cake bakery and am refused a wedding cake based on who I am.

But then, understanding that simple thing would get in the way of you, ahem, "making the argument about us," because you can't refute the point, wouldn't it?
