You are quite a short sighted individual, if the United States had put the money spent on the space program into feeding the hungry the hunger issue would have been solved and no one would suffer from hunger, but then I guess you would rather have the technology that's come from it instead of all people being well feed.

Or we could reduce military spending and redirect the funds from there into feeding the hungry. Or we could tax the church, you disgusting hypocrite. You claim others are short-sighted, yet you do not see the benefits brought about by stretching our skills and knowledge to the limit. You couldn't save yourself, so I'm sure you have no idea how to help others, you proved that in your statement of ridiculous tripe. 

First of all we've seen the result of reducing a military budget, leaving our loyal soldiers to fight with poor equipment, would you want to be sent into battle underfunded.
Second tax the church and see how much of that would need to go to helping the people in need here in this country. Every penny. So you should rethink your proposal and as for my belief system, we feed many people all over the world.
