Chas, I'm going to repeat what I said previously. If you have evidence that refutes it then post it.
1. They agreed upon an experiment to test for life on Mars, it was tested on Earth and all the criteria for life on Mars to be confirmed were outlined.
2. The test was run and the results were positive.
3. NASA then changed their mind upon the conditions, meaning that whatever the results they would still deny they had discovered life.
4. Although future tests that could re-confirm the original findings have been proposed, NASA has refused to ever test for life on Mars again on one of their future missions.
Therefore, life was tested for and was found. No future test was done to invalidate the original data even though they were designed and proposed to NASA.

"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke
