I believe it. I translate it differently. Genesis 1-11 is talking about why there is evil in the world and how it came to be. I dont see why I should take it literal, but believe the point it was trying to make.
Note: There may have been a flood in the Mesopotamia area, around that time...
Its ok to have doubt, just dont let that doubt become the answers.
