To be clear -- You don't like the advice we've given, and that's fine. Hard to call it stupid. You have every right to not be happy about this; if it's a deal breaker it's a deal breaker.
But don't get it twisted. You have compromised your ability to bond with her. And you have devalued her. Keep it on your side of the street. These are your judgements of her.
