That's true, but I think that a major part of the reason for that is because of who he was fighting against. His usual offensiveness/aggressiveness must have been to some degree neutralized by Floyd's defense and his range control. In relation to that, I also think Manny wasn't able to gain enough confidence during the fight because he might have realized the level of skill that Floyd has in dodging and counter-punching. Floyd's style didn't allow Manny to take full advantage of his own speed and aggression. Therefore, it's likely that Manny felt that he would become more vulnerable to being counter-attacked if he goes in and punches more, and so this may have a key thing that prevented him from feeling confident enough as to get more aggressive.

Of course. I don't necessarily think that he's unbeatable either.
