You can make the bible say whatever you want if you start with the conclusion it is true, so must say what you want it to, and then "interpret" it. God sure is a shitty writer because he can barely get two people to agree on his bullshit book.

Why an omnipotent God needs to rest, or needs time to create stuff, is another story.
