It's because it's a church. If it was just 2 normal citizens I'm sure they would have put raped but something at least worse then abuse. Churches always seem to get away with this stuff? Why go easy on a priest they are no "better" than a janitor in my book. They are sick fucks who used their position and their "god" to fuck children, "Don't tell your mommy or the Devil will get you" Way to go, you not only raped the kid, but manipulated them in the process.
