Job's wife advised him to "curse god ad die."

Have you ever just said something to the effect of "Fuck you, god" just to show theists that you would not die?

If so, was your remark followed by the slightest crackle of lightning from on high?

For years, I've had a habit of coming up with creative ways to take God's name in vain. I would even do it recursively (God Christ it instead of God dammit). It's probably why this particular Penny Arcade comic made me laugh so hard:

Did your luck change?

Do you think cursing god publicly is the sine qua non or touchstone of a true atheist?

Of course my luck didn't change. No, I think I did this just as much when I was Christian. The only difference is I'd immediately feel guilty about it afterward.
