Many Christian faiths believe and teach about a future, end-times event when all true believers who are still alive before the end of the world will be taken from the earth by God into heaven. The term describing this event is "the Rapture."
Basically, they think that at the point where the world is almost at an end, all people who choose to follow God will disappear altogether from Earth and accepted into Heaven.
It's stupid really, especially since the Rapture is never truly mentioned in the Bible to begin with. It is just an opinion that many follow based on what they want to happen.
